The trip to the hotel was surprisingly brief ; the second surprise was the very nice hotel with a large courtyard and arbors bursting with the lilac Wisteria bloom - which turned out to be short-lived and were disappeared in a week or so.

The church bell rang as we made our way for lunch at the streetside cafetaria , which was an adventure - the menu was in German and both ladies running the place speak not a word of English. They had to take out samples to show us what was offered - spaghetti, frozen cod fish package, sausages...whatever. I went for the cod, and hoped it will not served with a thick slab of cheese. Thankfully, the poached fresh fillet was totally palatable and for about 4 Euro, unbeatable !

Incidentally, its called pangasius naturel.
The church bell rang again as we made our way back.
With technology, I was soon seeing the family again - albeit within the LCD of the laptop. It was like I never left home .... good !
