Football injury and gout is making my day really miserable. I could not sleep last night, the pain is excruciating. I am incapable of leaving the room today, and almost incapable of making my way to the loo even. Yesterday, I stumbled to the com doctor only to find he could gave me 4 tablets of painkillers - if I need more I need to come again next day - this is to prevent drug dependency - how thoughtful. The outside pharmacies do not stock any colchicine either (we tried 4), and I would have to make advance reservation and come again next day. My colleague helped me to collect in the morning and had it sent to my room....without them they may find me rotted some weeks later........last night, half asleep due to fever, I watched Brazil dissected Chile 3-0. I hope they will meet Spain in Final....
