Porceleain Town

Many years ago, the king locked up his alchemist so he could come out with a way to turn waste metals to gold. He was unsuccessful but managed the next best thing - he found a way to make fine china - at that time a secret know-how from the Orient. Hence began Meissen as the the first porcelain manufacturing town in the west....and a very prosperous one too .....

the town

This is a dedicated loo

the whole building is the loo....pay 0.50 Euro if you want a piss....
The town square is occupied by ice cream parlours, souvenir shops (porcelain of course), hotels or pensions and the like....anyway need to rush back for the game.
