Halstatt - the vertical hamlet
Nestled between a lake and the mountain.....I don't know why of the places someone decided to build a village here.
As in many places, the true character of the hamlet shows before the arrival of day trippers....roughly about 10am, and after their departure late in the evening.

Stroll and Roll in Tirol
Yes the GPS was not wrong.
Perched precariously at the edge of a rolling Alpine hill (800m up to be precise), we reached this interesting farm

The kids spend the morning "helping" the with hay gathering.
The apartment is at the attic. The bedroom comes with a balcony with a million dollar view.
